Alright, it's playoff time! For those of you who don't make the playoffs in your bar, ask yourself this…Could a few extra bonus points (by watching the game at the bar) helped get you that extra win to have made it?

And for those of you who did make it..CONGRATULATIONS!

DON'T FORGET…BONUS POINTS COUNT DURING THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!!

Week 14 Begins the playoffs

For bar leagues with 5 or less teams, the top 2 teams make it to the play offs.
For bar leagues with 6-8 teams, the top 4 teams make it to the playoffs.
For bar leagues with more than 8 teams, the top 6 teams make it to the playoffs.

THE SCHEDULES

5 or less teams

Week 14 = Tavern Super Bowl

6-8 teams

Week 14 = Playoffs Round 1

Week 15 = Tavern Superbowl

9+ Teams

Week 14 = Playoffs Round 1 (top 2 teams get byes)

Week 15 = Playoffs Round 2

Week 16 = Tavern Superbowl

TIE BREAKERS GO TO THE TEAM WITH THE MOST POINTS DURING THE SEASON!

GHOST TEAMS - For those leagues that created a “ghost team” but never submitted a starting line up, these teams will count in determining how many teams make the playoffs.

World Tavern Fantasy Football takes the traditional Fantasy Football concept to the next level.

Here's How It Works!

Fantasy Football is designed to give the average football fan the experience and excitement of owning their own Professional Football Team including

Drafting a roster of players
Creating a starting line up each week
Playing against other teams in your league
Scoring points based on your player's actual performances
Making trades with other teams
Moving on to the playoffs
And competing for the Tavern Super Bowl!

But World Tavern Fantasy Football is quite a bit more exciting!

Your Team - In the real football world, there are many executives involved in the decision making process. The coach, the owner, the general manager and more, adding to the challenge of the decision making process. World Tavern Fantasy Football requires 2-4 owners to work together, better emulating real team ownership.

Owners - Each team is required to have between 2 and 4 owners. If you do not have someone else to work with, come out to the draft party and the tavern commissioner will pair you with another team.
Titles - Your team will create an executive title for each owner. Titles such as President, Director of Alcohol Consumption or even Cheerleading Scout.
The President - The President of your team will be responsible for all final decisions on drafting, starting rosters and trades. Be sure to select someone who is a good leader, or one who can be bribed with a shot and a beer.

The Draft Party! - Draft day for the NFL is a huge event full of parties, anticipation and excitement! With World Tavern Football you and the owners of your team will participate in a 5 hour draft party at the tavern. You and the other owners will draft

2 Quarterbacks
4 Running Backs
4 Wide Receivers
2 Tight Ends
2 Kickers
2 Defensive Teams

Be sure to show up to the draft party ready to party and draft a powerful team!

Draft Day Trading - During the NFL Draft there are always lots of teams looking to move up the draft board. Have your eye on a higher pick? You and your owners can decide to trade up (or down) by throwing in a pitcher of beer, a dozen chicken wings or anything else you can think of that will sweeten the pot.

The Season - World Tavern Football will create a 13 week regular season schedule where you will against other teams in your tavern.

All scoring will be tracked by the website
Bonus Points will be awarded by the Tavern Commissioner

The Bonus Points - This is probably the most exciting part of World Tavern Fantasy Football! Your team can actually receive bonus points for watching Sunday and Monday Night Football at the bar! Here's how it works

Sign in with the bartender at halftime for each Sunday and Monday Night Game

1 Owner = Extra Point (1 point)
2 Owners = Field Goal (3 points)
3 Owners = Touchdown (6 points)
4 Owners = Touchdown and 2 point conversion (8 points)

That's up to 16 bonus points each week for watching at the bar! And your mother said you would never get anything by hanging out at a bar.

Strategy - Be sure to try and get 4 owners on your team…the more owners, the better chance of getting more bonus points

Weekly Prizes - The Tavern will provide Weekly Prizes for the Team with the most starting roster points! More points…More prizes!

The Trading Party - Another exciting variation of Fantasy Football is the trading party. With World Tavern Fantasy Football trading will take place during a 3 hour live trading party. And best of all, you can sweeten your trade offer with food and beverage!

The Playoffs - At the end of the regular season (week 13 of the NFL season), the top teams in your Tavern will move on to a single elimination playoffs. This playoff structure will depend on the number of teams in your Tavern.

The Superbowl - The Top 2 Teams through the playoffs will move onto the Tavern Super Bowl where the winning team will receive prizes from the Tavern as well as have their Team Name inscribed on the Trophy to be shown off at the bar all year long!

The National Championships - The Top Team from each Tavern will move on to the National Championships where they will draft a new roster from teams that are in the NFL Playoffs.

This Team Roster will consist of

1 Quarterback
2 Running Backs
2 Wide Receivers
1 Tight End
1 Kicker
1 Defense

Points will be cumulative…but remember, if your Quarterback is eliminated from the NFL Playoffs, you lose that position!

The Grand Prize! - The Team with the most cumulative points throughout the playoffs will Win 4 Trips To Super Bowl XLI in Miami! Your prize consists of

4 Super Bowl Tickets
2 Hotel Rooms In Miami (2 nights)
$1,000 In Travel Money

The Tie Breaker - In the case that there is a tie for the National Championships, the Tie Breaker will be determined by the team that had the most Starting Roster points throughout the entire season (Regular Season and Playoffs)
