| Welcome to World Tavern Fantasy Football, the most exciting time you will ever have playing Fantasy Football! Remember that we are all here to draft the best team, select the best starting rosters and ultimately win a trip to the Super Bowl…But even more importantly is to have fun! Also keep in mind that your Tavern is providing this league for you so please be sure to support them and their staff. And don't forget to give a special thanks to your League Manager for hosting and managing the league at your bar! Here is a brief overview of how the league works. Each team will be given a complete owners manual on draft day that has more details. | | | Your bar will be its own league, that is, there can be up to 16 participating teams competing against each week throughout the season. Your league will be broken down into divisions (just like the NFL) based on the number of participating teams. Once your League Manager (the bar owner/mgr/etc…) updates your League's Teams online, the divisions and schedules will be created. Each week your Team will be playing head to head against another Team in your league…score more points and you win!
| | | | Your team must have a minimum of 2 owners and a maximum of 4. This is done because it is more realistic. In the NFL, it's not just 1 person making all the decisions it's a group of people. Working together to make decisions and overcome conflict is a major part of true football team ownership.

On draft day, Team Owners will draft their complete Team Roster. Your Team Roster will consist of the following positions. Note: You must draft EXACTLY the following number of positions.

Weeks 1-13 = Regular Season - This is where your teams will be playing head to head trying to compile the best Win/Loss record.

Weeks 14-15 = Playoffs! - This is where your Top Teams will be competing in the playoffs and their chance to move on to the Tavern Super Bowl. Playoffs are held during the NFL's regular season because many of your players may not be in the actual NFL playoffs so you may be unable to field a starting roster.

Week 16 = Tavern Super Bowl! - Your Top 2 Teams will compete for the title of Tavern Champion and the chance to move on to the National Championships and compete for the chance to go to Super Bowl XLI in Miami!

| This is one of the unique elements of World Tavern Fantasy Football! Each week your Team can earn Bonus Points for watching Thursday, Sunday or Monday Night NFL games in your bar! What a great incentive to come out, have a beer and watch some football. Bonus Points are awarded based on the number of your Team Owners watching the game on these nights. At half time during the “qualified” bonus point games your Team Owners will check in with the bartender. You will need to have a photo ID for verification. The bartender will mark you down as present, and you will receive the following points.

| Your Team will receive Wins and Losses based on your head to head play against other teams. If your team scores more than your scheduled opponents (including the bonus points), You Win! If you score less, you Lose. These records will then rank your teams in their divisions (just like the NFL).

| To get started click on the Create A Team tab, and find a tavern near you. You will need to call or email the tavern. You can email them by clicking on the bar and email them your name, team name, phone, email address and how many team owners. If there is not a tavern near you, simply print out the tavern registration packet and drop it off at your favorite bar. |
