| WORLD TAVERN FANTASY FOOTBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Congratulations on winning your Tavern Super Bowl and qualifying for the
World Tavern Fantasy Football National Championship. At the bottom of this
e-mail is a list of all the Championship Teams. So here's how it works.
OVERVIEW
Each National Championship qualifying team will SELECT A NEW STARTING ROSTER
made up of any players in the NFL Playoffs. You DO NOT NEED to keep any of
your starting roster.
Each week, your players points will be added to come up with a total score
at the end of the NFL playoffs.
The team with the most points throughout the NFL playoffs will be declared
the World Tavern Fantasy Football National Champion with each team owner
winning a trip to Super Bowl XLI in Miami including cash for travel and
accommodations.
YOUR ROSTER
For bar leagues with 5 or less teams, the top 2 teams make it to the play offs.
Each team will select exactly the following - 1 Quarterback
- 2 Runningbacks
- 2 Wider Receivers
- 1 Tight End
- 1 Team Defense
- 1 Kicker
- This roster is your starting team throughout the NFL playoffs
- ALL NFL PLAYERS ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL TEAMS. Meaning that Peyton Manning can be on every team. There are no limitations to the number of times an NFL player can be selected
- This roster CAN NOT change, the starting roster you select is the one you will keep throughout the NFL Playoffs. There will be no dropping/adding players or trades during the Championships
- For example, if your team chooses Peyton Manning as your QB and the Colts are eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs, you will not have a QB for the rest of the Championship. There are no exceptions to this rule!
- Player selection will open on Tuesday January 2nd at 5:00pm (est) and will close at the kickoff of the 1st playoff game. REMEMBER, your roster cannot change!
- Log into WorldTavernFootball.com and enter your SAME USERNAME AND PASSWORD as used during the regular season
- Click on the Update Roster button to take you to MyFantasyLeague.com
- Be sure to select the World Tavern Football Championship league
- Select your players
SCORING The scoring system will remain the same as the regular season.
NO BONUS POINTS will be awarded during the National Championships.
The team with the most points at the end of the NFL playoffs will win the
World Tavern Fantasy Football Championship! In the case of a tie, the tie-breaker will be determined in the following
order - Most starting team points during the REGULAR SEASON (including bonus points)
- Regular season Win/Loss record
- Most bonus points during the regular season
PRIZES - Only players that were registered at the beginning of the season will be eligible for the Trips
- Each owner on the winning team will receive the following
- 1 Ticket to Superbowl XLI in Miami
- $500 for travel and hotel
- Each team owner will be required to complete a W9 tax form before the prize can be sent
